Wow . . . somebody said, “Time flies when you’re having fun.”  We must have been having a blast this summer ’cause time sure has soared.  With one of the most successful VBS events ever, Anniversary Sunday, H2O at the Y, Family Skate Night, Celebrate America, Better Man Breakfast and our summer mission trip to Ecuador, Landmark was super busy and super blessed.

Take a  B I G   B R E A T H  and let’s get ready for Awesome August!  In a few weeks, we will again host the ALWS Southeast Region champions.  It is our opportunity to be a witness to the thousands coming to our city to observe and/or participate in the series.  Thanks to our Advance Team and to the sponsors who helped fund the backpacks given to the team and coaches.  Mark your calendar for Grand Slam Sunday, August 18th.  We will provide lunch for the team and cheer them on for their 7:00 PM game at the stadium.

We are so excited about our Better Man Breakfast on Sunday, August 11th.  We had 31 men attend last month and we are excited to grow this event.  Our men learned that the Biblical definition for manhood is much different from the one projected by our culture.  A special thanks to the ladies who helped cook and serve last month.

Pray for our students as they start the 2024-25 school year.  So excited for our college students as they launch into a challenging part of their journey.  Landmark is so proud of your Christian testimony students!

Buckle up for the awesome things ahead in the month of August.  Go by the Connect Desk in the foyer and fill out a form, “Are You Serving the Lord in His Church?”  Our Nominating Committee and staff are prayerfully filling the gaps and expanding the ministry to bring people into a dynamic relationship with Christ!
